General information

  • In the old town of Dolgellau with its narrow streets, parking can be a bit of a nightmare.

When you stay at Plas Isa, there are however several options:
    * In front of our house, in Lion Street there are a few free, on-street parking spaces. These are often taken.
    * The Short Stay Public Car park is immediately behind our property, bordering to our garden. During the day there's a maximum stay (paid) of 3 hours. It's free overnight.
    * The Long Stay Public Car park is only 2 minutes away. There, everyone can park all day (also paid). ADDED BONUS: we have a small number parking passes for our guests, to stay there free of charge!!!

There is no parking on-site in our garden, due to the risk of being blocked in by cars parking in the disabled bay at our entrance.

  • You can charge your electric car in the short stay public carpark, right behind our house.

  • Yes, we have a small room that doubles up as bike storage, drying room and utility room. It fits approx 6-8 bikes, depending on size. At the time of booking, please let us know if you are planning to bring your bike.

PS. please don't think Dolgellau is unsafe - we just want to make sure that you don't have to worry about anything.

  • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… or so they say.

    So yes!!!

In the morning between 8am - 10am we serve continental breakfast with cereals, bread, ham, cheese, eggs, juices, yoghurt, fruit and coffee or tea.

If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking, so we can try to accommodate for that. Also you are welcome to bring your own breakfast ingredients.

At busy times, we might have to stagger breakfast sittings.

  • We fully understand that you would like to bring your dog on holiday with you.

Unfortunately, due to the layout of the house and the shared facilities we can not accept pets at any time - including when you book the house for exclusive use.

  • Yes, we welcome everyone. Three of our rooms have bunkbeds and perfect for families. We do however ask for min of one adult to sleep in the room with children under 11.

The bedrooms on the second floor are not suitable for small children due to windows being at floor level.

  • Our check in is between 4PM - 10PM. At time of booking confirmation we ask you for a approximate time of arrival, just so we can make sure we can meet you in the house.

Please let us know if you want to check in outside these times, so we can see if we can accommodate this.

  • Our check-out time is strictly at 10AM, so that we have sufficient time to clean and get the house ready for new arrivals.
