Iain & Mark February 2023: This was a great find and we will return. Location is great with easy nearby parking and access. Ian and Hanneke were really friendly, helpful with suggestions for local places to eat. The house was perfect, warm and cosy with plenty of space for drying out wet gear and excellent hot powerful shower which was very welcome after a hard day up in the mountains! Also very tasty continental breakfast. Definitely would recommend.
Amelie & friends January 2024: Hanneke and Ian are very welcoming and adorable. Communication with them was a simple one. The accommodation is very clean, tastefully decorated, you feel good there. The village is very cute and there are nice restaurants, places to get a snack...
Alice March 2024 - We had a fabulous stay with Hanneke & Ian. Amazing 5-star hosts who went out of their way to help us during our stay. Were very helpful for cyclists - fantastic storage facilities and incredibly welcoming. We look forward to coming again on our next adventure!
Jo October 2023 - Loved this place. All the best bits of a hostel (kitchen, drying room, friendly living spaces) with the feel of a boutique hotel! We named it a ‘poshtel’. 100% recommend!

Johanna September 2023: We really enjoyed the stay! It’s a lovely town and great hiking opportunities in the area. The host were very nice and helpful with advice for food spots and hiking routes. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast included was really good!
Rachel June 2023: What a lovely place! Hanneke and Ian were the loveliest hosts ever. They made a real effort to make contact with us everyday and gave us personalised recommendations for our stay. The breakfast was a nice treat. The rooms were beautiful and even nicer than the pictures and everything was squeaky clean. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Friendly hosts, beautiful location with an inviting back garden, well laid out rooms, and top notch cleanliness. So much thought has gone into making a stay as easy and pleasant as possible. The breakfast, served at the beautiful harvest table, was an added bonus. We heartily recommend staying with Ian and Hanneke. Their knowledge of what to see and do locally made our stay. We hope to come back one day, and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Vicky August 2023 - We had a wonderful stay with Ian and Hanneke. The guesthouse was so lovely inside, exactly as described and super comfortable. The showers were always clean and we could use them whenever we wanted, there was never a queue. Breakfast was filling and it was nice to eat with other guests who were friendly too. Hanneke and Ian also gave us a lot of recommendations about food and hiking. We really enjoyed our time and would love to come back soon!
Luke May 2023 - Exceptional customer experience. Ian & Hanneke demonstrate the upmost sincerity and care in what they do. By the end of my stay, it felt like I had visited friends. In my opinion, the upper echelons of customer experience are met when you no longer feel like a customer. I am delighted that I chose to stay at Plas Isa; in particular, because I no longer have to deliberate as to where I will stay whenever I visit Snowdonia in the future. I have found my favourite! If you are visiting the area for a hiking trip (or similar activity), you would be doing exceptionally well to find a superior place to stay. I earnestly look forward to staying at Plas Isa again, when I revisit the area to enjoy nearby mountains such as Cader Idris, Cnicht, & Aran Fawddwy. Thanks to Ian & Hanneke for making my holiday a memorable one. See you again soon!
