Plas ISa Dolgellau

More than just a bed

Welcome to Plas ISa - croeso i Plas Isa

At Plas Isa we provide relaxed and cosy accommodation to independent travellers, who enjoy their home comforts as much as they love adventuring in the great outdoors – just like we do!

The property is a beautiful Grade II listed building, in the centre of Dolgellau. This charming Welsh mountain town, in the foothills of Cadair Idris and on the Arran and Mawddach rivers, was built on the success of the wool trade and is still full of character. The history of Plas Isa is strongly linked to the adjacent Golden Lion Hotel and was rebuilt in ca. 1839.

We took over Plas Isa in March 2018, with the vision to create a comfortable home-away-from-home, for everyone who loves the outdoors.

Years of experience travelling our wonderful planet and working in hospitality, has led us to where we are today. We aim to provide not only a comfortable bed, but everything you need for a successful day out (disclaimer - this does not include the Welsh weather).

Our accommodation is homely and comfortable, and we’re always to hand to help you enjoy your stay.

We hope to welcome you to Dolgellau soon, Ian & Hanneke
